Cost-Effective Data Access for Research (CEDAR) Storage
The first 10 TB of Cost-Effective Data Access for Research (CEDAR) storage is available to all Georgia Tech faculty at no-cost.
This storage is mountable anywhere on campus, as well as on the Phoenix and Hive clusters.
CEDAR storage is ideal for data that does (1) not need to be accessed by a high performance parallel file system and (2) needs to be stored in a cost-efficient manner. CEDAR is more cost efficient than other storage locations as it is supplemented by the Office of the Executive Vice President for Research (EVPR).
For researchers needing to access their data using a high-performance parallel file system, the shared project storage spaces on Phoenix and Hive are more appropriate for storage locations.
