Tips for Getting Help Faster
PACE staff work with hundreds of researchers running countless software programs, scripts, and utilizing a variety of tools. If you are running into an issue with your job(s), the more information we have the faster we can resolve the problem. Please provide the following information so that we can help you resume your research as quickly as possible:
- The exact error message that is displayed to the screen and the exact sequence of commands you executed that resulted in that error
- The location of the job script or program you were trying to run
- An explanation of what you have already attempted
- Any symptoms that may be related to the problem
